Warranty
To make a warranty claim, please contact our Customer Support Team via email. Your email should include:
- A description of the issue
- Relevant information
- Your original purchase order number
- The retailer from whom you purchased the product
- Photos showing the issue
We will communicate clearly about the status of your warranty claim, confirm receipt, provide solutions available, and share tracking information for any replacements.
Important Safety Notice:
Wangmazi knives are extremely sharp tools and must be handled with care. Any use outside of cutting food is considered misuse and will void your warranty. Wangmazi Cutlery Company is not liable for injuries resulting from misuse or abuse of the product.
Warranty Coverage
Wangmazi Cutlery Company ("Wangmazi") warrants that the product you purchased will be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and conditions for your lifetime (the "Coverage Period").
Coverage Includes:
- All parts of the product (except noted exclusions)
- Defects in workmanship or materials under normal use and conditions
Normal Use and Conditions:
Normal use is defined as use intended by Wangmazi for culinary purposes, and does not include any actions described in the exclusions below.
Exclusions
While Wangmazi products are crafted to be durable, the following are excluded from this warranty:
Damage or Injury: Bent tips, chipped or broken blades, and melted or damaged handles resulting from:
- Unauthorized modifications
- Neglect or accidents
- Acts of God (e.g., fire, tornadoes, earthquakes)
- Inappropriate use (e.g., cutting frozen foods, bones, or on hard surfaces like glass or granite)
- Misuse or abuse (e.g., dishwasher use, harsh cleaning products)
- Rust or discoloration from inadequate care
- Improper maintenance
- Loss or theft
Wooden Products: For items made of wood or wooden-handled products, only the wooden portion is excluded, as wood is a natural material. Please contact Wangmazi Customer Service for options regarding these products.
Sharpening Tools and Honing Steels: These are excluded due to their abrasive nature.
Wear and Tear:Normal wear including dull, bent, scratched, or corroded blades is not covered.
